Neenah WI Homeowner

Kitchen remodel; Appleton, Wisconsin: Timber Innovations created this Victorian period eat-in kitchen in a home on the historical registry in a university neighborhood. The homeowners wanted the kitchen to reflect the history of the house, but have the latest technology hidden within the historical details.

The space was small and required a lot of planning and forethought. A superfluous door was turned into a window, allowing for more storage space underneath. In order to make the cabinets appear as if they had been in the house since the home was built, they were hand-painted as they would've been during that era. Victorian details like embossing on the woodwork, heating grates, crown molding and period lighting fixtures completed the room.
